Can you schedule concrete work around our business hours?

Yes. We phase commercial projects and work off-hours where needed so your parking, entrances, and loading areas stay usable. Share your hours and traffic pattern and we will build the schedule around them.

How thick should a commercial concrete lot or pad be?

It depends on the load. Standard lots are typically 5 to 6 inches, heavy truck lanes 7 to 8 inches, and loading docks or approach slabs 8 to 10 inches, all reinforced. We spec thickness and reinforcement to your actual traffic.

Should we use concrete or asphalt for our lot?

Both work. Concrete costs more up front but lasts longer and needs less maintenance under heavy, slow, or turning truck traffic. Asphalt is cheaper to install and faster to reopen. Because we pour both, we recommend what fits your traffic and budget, not just what we happen to install.

Do you handle ADA compliance for sidewalks and ramps?

Yes. We build commercial walkways, curb ramps, and detectable-warning transitions to ADA slope and cross-slope requirements so your property stays compliant and accessible.

Do you repair existing concrete or only pour new?

Both. We fix spalling, cracking, settled slabs, and trip hazards by grinding, lifting, patching, or replacing the failed sections, which removes the liability without always replacing the whole surface.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial projects?

Site assessment and subgrade prep: excavate, grade, and compact the subgrade so the slab is supported evenly.
Stone base and drainage: install and compact a stone base, sloped so water drains instead of pooling and freezing under the slab.
Forms and reinforcement: set forms to grade, place rebar or mesh, and spec the mix, typically 4,000 to 4,500 PSI and air-entrained for freeze/thaw.
Pour and finish: place, screed, and finish to the right texture, including broom finish for traction and ADA surfaces where required.
Jointing: saw control joints and set expansion joints at the right spacing so the slab cracks where we plan it to, not where you will see it.
Cure and seal: cure properly and seal where appropriate before the area returns to service.
